Ramadan Package Drive – America 250 Initiative
As part of the America 250 Project under Embrace USA, the volunteers of the Turkish American Society of Ohio have taken meaningful steps to serve their local community through a Ramadan Food Package Drive aimed at supporting vulnerable families.
Rooted in the spirit of service and unity, this initiative reflects the broader mission of the America 250 Project: strengthening communities through compassion, civic engagement, and volunteerism. Ramadan offers a special opportunity to come together, extend generosity, and ensure that families facing hardship are met with dignity and care.
In collaboration with the Immigration Integrations Committee and Noor Islamic Center, volunteers have already delivered 12 Ramadan food packages, each valued at approximately $35–$40. These packages contain essential food items to help families prepare meals and ease financial strain during the month.
While 12 packages mark an important milestone, the impact reaches far beyond numbers. Each delivery represents neighbors supporting neighbors — a reminder that small acts of kindness can create meaningful change.
We extend our sincere gratitude to every volunteer and supporter who contributed their time, energy, and resources to make this effort possible. Their generosity continues to make a tangible difference in the lives of local families.
Additional distributions are planned as outreach efforts expand. With continued community support, this initiative will keep growing — ensuring that even more families feel supported, valued, and remembered during this special season.
