A Powerful Day of Service for Our America-250 Initiative
This past Saturday, January 17, was a remarkable day of action, unity, and compassion for our America-250 Initiative. Across three cities, our community came together for three impactful events in one day—one blood drive and two winter coat distributions—proving that when we work together, meaningful change happens.
At Harmony Point in New Jersey, 50 generous blood donors stepped forward at our blood drive, hosted in partnership with the American Red Cross of New Jersey and the Turkish Cultural Center of New Jersey. Each donation carries the power to save lives, and together our donors made an incredible impact—357 units of blood were collected, offering hope and healing to countless individuals and families.
Meanwhile, in Paterson, New Jersey, we proudly partnered with the Disabled Combat Veterans Youth Program and the Great Falls Rotary Foundation during GFRF’s monthly Military Assistance Pantry. Through this winter coat drive, more than 30 individuals received warm coats just in time for the coldest days of the season—providing comfort, dignity, and care to those who need it most.
Our efforts continued west to Downtown Chicago, where we joined forces with the Humans at Help Foundation for another winter coat distribution. Thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers, 70 families were equipped with warm winter coats, helping them face the harsh winter with confidence and support.
None of this would have been possible without our incredible partners, donors, and volunteers. Your commitment to service and compassion is what fuels our mission and brings our America-250 vision to life—one community at a time.
