250 Years of the American Spirit
On July 4, 2026, the United States will celebrate its Semiquincentennial—the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This historic milestone is not just a birthday; it is a moment to pause and reflect on the “Great American Experiment.”
For two and a half centuries, the American story has been one of endurance, transformation, and the relentless pursuit of a more perfect union. From the initial gathering of the Founding Fathers to the complex, diverse democracy of today, the U.S. has served as a beacon of liberty and self-governance. This anniversary marks a rare achievement in world history: few republics have survived and thrived for 250 years.
The journey to 2026 is an opportunity to honor the contributions of all Americans—from the earliest settlers and Native communities to the newest citizens. It is a time to explore the “unfinished revolutions” of our past and to re-engage with the civic ideals that bind us together: liberty, equality, and justice for all. As we look back on our shared history, we also look forward, asking how we can shape the next 250 years to be even brighter.

Building America’s Next 250 Years
Transforming America’s 250th anniversary into a nationwide movement of service and impact.
Our Mission
Through the America-250 initiative, Embrace Relief mobilizes nonprofits, community partners, faith-based groups, schools, clubs, and volunteers to serve communities across the U.S.—meeting real needs through a clear, month-by-month humanitarian blueprint.
America-250 is not a government campaign. It is a civil-society initiative led by Embrace Relief, designed to honor America’s founding values—service, dignity, unity, and shared responsibility—by helping neighbors in need and strengthening local communities.
By aligning service projects with nationally meaningful moments throughout the year, America-250 invites everyone to celebrate America’s legacy not only by remembering history, but by actively shaping a more compassionate future.
Our Vision
Our vision is an America where major national milestones inspire collective good, not just commemoration.
Through America-250, Embrace Relief envisions:
● A shared national service framework where organizations and communities can easily participate
● A replicable blueprint that empowers partners to organize local impact aligned with national goals
● A culture in which helping others becomes a defining way Americans celebrate their country
Using a 12-month, impact-driven plan—including food security, winter relief, women’s dignity, homelessness support, youth engagement, veterans’ care, and holiday giving—America-250 demonstrates how structured compassion can reach thousands of lives across the nation.
This initiative aims to leave behind more than a celebration:
It aims to leave a model of cooperation, generosity, and service that partners, clubs, and communities can carry forward into America’s next 250 years.
About Embrace Relief
Headquartered in Fairfield, New Jersey, the organization structures its operations into two primary departments: Embrace USA and the International Department.
Embrace USA focuses on domestic relief projects, addressing local challenges such as food insecurity through its Mobile Farmers’ Market, providing disaster response for hurricanes and wildfires, and supporting vulnerable American families.
Simultaneously, the International Department coordinates aid in over 50 countries, managing extensive programs in refugee relief, clean water access (building wells), cataract surgeries, and orphan care.
Guided by its “Dynamic Triangle” approach—uniting donors, volunteers, and local partners—Embrace Relief bridges the gap between acute crisis response and long-term sustainable development.
